Ugh boys

Boys are quite weird if you ask me, I have two brothers and both are quite different, yet strangely the same as each other.. I've had my fair share of "bad" or "mean" boys but yet I still manage to think "yes, there are good guys out there, somewhere, and that one day I will meet a absolutely lovely guy!". 

If you have met a "dud" guy and have a feeling he'll be one of those to use you, or talk to you 24/7 and then one day just stop, I promise you it is not the end of the world and unfortunately this won't be the first guy to make you feel 1 in a million and then make you feel like that unloved lonely piece of left over food that no one wants to eat or touch.

These guys do suck, they suck A LOT but at the end of the day they won't change.. Not for a while at least.

You deserve better than to feel used, find a guy that makes you laugh your head off to the point that you're embarrassed he heard that inhuman noise you just made, someone that will tell you secrets and share random little things with you, a guy that will buy you pizza and fight you for the last piece (that you will obviously win #clique). A guy that will smile at you and tell you cute little things every now again (don't wanna be getting too mooshy and cute to the point that it becomes cringy.. Ain't no body got time to be cute 24/7 7 days a week 💁). 

All in all you deserve a nice guy that treats you fairly, makes you laugh, smile, and that you can trust.

I met that guy once, that one that absolutely blows you away and completely surprises you.. He's an amazing person but I've only met him a few times and haven't seen him for a while which sucks but hopefully he and I will meet again soon. :)

heels or flats: what a horrible question!! Flats but in Autumn and Winter heels 6 out of 7 days a week.

bun or ponytail: ponytail although I do love my buns

January Favourites

This January has been a busy and hot one for me here in Australia, but with my favourite things I got through it!

During January I found a massive love for a black skirt of mine that I wasn't too find of when I bought it but, I found it really easy to style for every day wear, an even if I went out for the night or into the city, it pretty much goes with everything I own which is a HUGE plus! http://instagram.com/p/i0SZkthPKh/

My most worn top for January would be my Rolling Stones singlet, I wish I could tell you all about some "amazing dress I just couldn't get enough of" but in all honesty I'm not a huge dress person any more (not for summer dresses anyways) throughout the summer I became absolutely obsessed with playsuits to the extent where I had friends tell me "oh Imogen I saw this playsuit today and I thought of you", I just can't get enough of them!

As for beauty products I haven't worn much makeup today this summer/January and try not to each summer because I do really like the feeling of a fresh face (and the feeling of not having make up running down my face).
This January I have been doing a face mask once a week, sometimes two with 'Passion Peel Off' by Montagne Jeunesse, I definitely recommend this if you work in/around food, an oily/hot/chemical work place, and even just to use on a weekly basis.
Maybelline FIT Me pressed powder and Maybelline Baby Lips have been 'go to' products for me each summer, just pop both on if you feel like wearing make up or are going out somewhere and your good to go. You still get the "natural" summer look only buffed up? I guess you could say haha.

I know some people have a favourite song from the summer/month but I honestly just don't, throughout January I listened to All Time Low's album 'Nothing Personal' on a daily basis pretty much, I was OBSESSED with that album through January!
